poor overall service I am experiencing

I am contacting you today with regards to the poor overall service I am experiencing and invite you to A) comment on the matter and B) persuade me why I should not take my business elsewhere.

1. Emails - For the past couple of weeks there has been a constant problem with receiving emails. This is a fundamental service of ISP,s so where is the problem and do you have any intention of actually fixing it.

2. Broadband connection. You claim you offer a speed up to 20mb. If so why do I and many others fail to continually receive such a speed. Both BT and Sky provide a far more superior service at speeds up to 8mb. Furthermore these speeds are achieved using wireless routers which you don?t seem to offer. You state you regulate traffic between 4pm & 9pm. if I?m paying for 20mb then I expect to receive it 24/7 not as when you decide or your system can handle the traffic. I can understand the concept behind it however am not even getting 2mb some evenings so god only knows what those on a lower tariff are receiving!

3 No interactive on Sky Sports. One of the main appeals of subscribing to Sky Sports is being able to go interactive during Football First Match Choice and Champions Leauge Nights. Nowhere do you state or advise when subscribing that this service is not available. Why Not?

4 On Demand. Why is it that programmes broadcast daily ie Deal or No Deal, Richard & Judy, Hollyoaks etc are available some days and not others? These are all available to view via 4od,s website so why not on Virgin. Has someone forgot to set the V+ box!!!!

You have spent millions on advertising the Virgin Media brand and other PR stunts yet what is the consumer actually getting of benefit ( other than not having a dish on there house ) that the likes of Sky etc cannot offer. We are already without Sky One, Sky Sports News, Sky News and what do you offer in return. Setanta Sports News which quiet frankly is the most amateurish error strewn news channel I have ever watched. Low on content, cardboard presenters and terrible on screen graphics. Dave and Virgin 1 merely carry repeats of old BBC programmes.

So...after digesting the above I invite you to answer the points I have raised (without blaming my PC, Channel 4 or Sky )and persuade why I should not take my business elsewhere.
