Dear Sirs,
I have twice been 'upgraded' on my TV package by Virgin Media having not asked for an upgrade. Therefore they get to charge me more money for the Large package and not the base package I subscribe to. I have to then waste time calling in to their call centre and explaining the problem. They cannot seem to comprehend what has happened, but eventually downgrade the TV again. However when I ask for a rebate for the extra cost they begin to argue the toss saying that because I've had it (regardless of wether I asked for it or not and that I haven't even been watching the content because I didn't even know it was there) that I must pay for it. Eventually I manage to get the money re-credited, however this seems tantamount to fraud to me. The fact that it has happened twice suggests that they are trying to extract more money by stealth. Of course there is no apology or explaination as to why this has happened, in fact they are almost suggesting that it is my fault! I would be interested to know if anyone else has suffered this problem.
Yours in frustration,
Stuart Smith.
